DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF, a Tahoe-based coffee shop, is expanding into Reno with its first retail location in the city. After a year of preparation, the new café will open this Friday, April 18, at the South Creek shopping center, located off S. Virginia Street and S. Meadows Parkway. The spot was previously home to Bibo Coffee.
The new location, which will be the brand’s fourth after Truckee, Incline Village, and South Lake Tahoe, has completed its remodel. To celebrate, the grand opening will feature free coffee for all guests, all day long.
While this is the first brick-and-mortar store in Reno, DRINK COFFEE DO STUFF has been serving local residents for years through partnerships with businesses like Whitney Peak, Walden’s, Rancharrah, and Raley’s O-N-E Market.
The café will operate daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., maintaining the same hours, pricing, and menu as the other locations. The South Reno shop also boasts a unique interior design, featuring a custom mural by Reno artist Hannah Eddy, photography by Tahoe’s Ryland West, and accents made from reclaimed wood.
The new café is located at 75 Foothill Road, suite 4, in South Reno. Meanwhile, the brand is also working on a second Reno location, a roastery and café with patio seating in Midtown. The new spot will occupy the former Junkee building and is expected to open later this year.
