After months of renovations, Boomerang Coffee Lounge has officially opened its second location at 309 Jerome Street. The new café offers a convenient drive-thru service, which sets it apart from the original location at 128 Ashman Circle.
Owners Maegan and Brett Nowak first opened Boomerang Coffee Lounge in 2021. Thanks to the support of the community, the Nowaks were able to expand, opening this second spot in a different part of town. “It’s a new area of the community we can serve, and that’s really exciting for us,” Brett Nowak said.
The new café is located in the former Subway space next to a BP gas station. In addition to their signature coffee, the menu includes fresh sandwiches and seasonal baked goods. The new location’s drive-thru service is already drawing excitement from regulars. “The drive-thru is a huge hit,” Brett shared. “It’s great for those cold mornings, and for families who don’t have to get their kids out of the car to grab a coffee or brunch.”
To keep the experience consistent, the Nowaks have hired six new employees who have been trained to work at both locations. This ensures customers will see familiar faces, whether they visit the Jerome Street or Ashman Circle café.
Though the two locations are just a mile and a half apart, Brett noted that they serve different parts of the community, allowing them to reach even more customers.
