Silk City Coffee in Manchester and Story and Soil Coffee in Hartford have been recognized as two of the best coffee shops globally, making it onto the prestigious list of the world’s top 100 coffee shops.
The ranking is part of “The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops” website, which allows coffee lovers to nominate their favorite cafés worldwide, creating a global guide for coffee enthusiasts.
Tammy Gerhard, co-owner of Silk City Coffee, expressed her excitement about the honor when speaking to NBC Connecticut. “We came in at number 67—what an honor. Oh, my goodness,” Gerhard said.
Story and Soil Coffee, based in Hartford, earned the 88th spot on the list.
