The 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival will be held in Dak Lak, Vietnam’s largest coffee-producing region, from March 9 to 13. The event will celebrate the hard work of coffee growers, processors, and traders.
The festival’s opening ceremony, set for March 10, will feature the theme “Buon Ma Thuot – Destination of World Coffee.” It will showcase the rich coffee culture of the region, highlighting the people, traditions, and the famous Central Highlands gong culture. The ceremony will also emphasize the tourism potential of Dak Lak.
A key highlight of the event will be a speech from the Executive Director of the International Coffee Organization, who will help position Buon Ma Thuot as a global coffee hub.
On the same afternoon, a street festival will bring together art troupes, artisans, artists, students, and workers from coffee companies and farms in the area. This lively celebration will include performances and activities for attendees of all ages.
Other festival highlights will include an exhibition of coffee industry products and machinery, a specialty coffee roasting competition, an international trade connection conference, a coffee camp, and a photo exhibition. Cultural exchanges and coffee-related experience tours will also be available.
Buon Ma Thuot is renowned for its high-quality coffee, which has earned a strong international reputation for its rich flavors and unique blends.
