Hogg Batch, the St. Pete-based coffee brand known for its small-batch, experimental roasts, is opening a new luxury coffee experience called HB Gold Bar. The exclusive pop-up will debut on May 17 at Grand Central Brewhouse, located at 2340 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District.
HB Gold Bar will operate on weekends, from Friday to Sunday, offering a selection of Hogg Batch’s rare, barrel-aged coffees. This new venture marks a shift for founder Duane Hogg, who wanted to go beyond just serving coffee.
“We’ve spent years perfecting these complex, small-batch coffees,” says Hogg. “But handing someone a to-go cup didn’t feel like enough. We needed a space where the full depth of flavor, the story behind the coffee, and the craftsmanship could be fully appreciated.”
At its core, HB Gold Bar is designed as a curated coffee tasting room. The experience is meant to be slow, intentional, and focused on savoring coffee in its most refined and experimental forms. With limited hours and a minimalist menu, everything about the pop-up is crafted to elevate the coffee experience.
