Constantia Flexibles has introduced a new recycle-ready coffee packaging solution in partnership with Delica, a company under Migros Industrie.
The packaging uses Constantia’s EcoVerHighPlus, a mono polypropylene (PP) laminate, and is designed for soft coffee bags.
This new laminate offers strong barrier properties that help keep coffee—both ground and whole beans—fresh and aromatic. According to Constantia, the material is fully recyclable and does not sacrifice quality or performance.
One key feature is the mono PP valve. It helps keep out unwanted gases while letting natural gases from the coffee escape. This helps maintain product freshness over time.
Tobias Acker, Constantia Flexibles’ market product manager for beverages, said, “This project shows the power of collaboration. Working with Delica AG, we have launched one of the first recycle-ready mono PP laminates for coffee soft bags. It’s an important step for both the industry and the environment.”
