Japanese-based international coffee chain % Arabica has opened its sixth Canadian store, now soft-opening at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga. The company announced the news on Instagram on May 24, noting this location is number 228 worldwide.
For the store design, % Arabica teamed up with Austria’s Studio Precht. The designer shared details about the kiosk, highlighting its modular layout with five openings. This design allows visitors to approach the kiosk from many directions inside the busy shopping centre.
The kiosk features a mix of wooden structures and a white translucent shell. This combination creates a simple but warm and inviting atmosphere. A circular window design adds to the brand’s unique visual identity.
The shell is built to softly glow, making the kiosk stand out in the mall and catching the eyes of shoppers passing by. The company’s distinctive % symbol is placed prominently to attract attention and invite visitors to stop for a cup of high-quality Arabica coffee.
The design aims to improve the customer experience and set the kiosk apart as a memorable and eye-catching spot within Square One, one of Canada’s busiest shopping destinations.
