The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has opened its first non-traditional franchise at Salt Lake City International Airport in Utah. This marks the brand’s 23rd airport café across seven major U.S. airports.
The new location is operated by Bambuza, a women- and minority-owned franchising group. This move highlights The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf’s growing focus on expanding through non-traditional franchise channels.
Peter Vavra, Director of Franchise Development, said airports are a key area for growth. He added that the company is excited to bring its premium coffee and tea to travelers nationwide. Vavra praised Bambuza for its operational expertise and understanding of airport settings, calling them an ideal partner for future expansion.
With over 60 years of heritage, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf continues to strengthen its presence in busy travel hubs, offering passengers a high-quality coffee and tea experience.
