Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii is bringing its bold Hawaiian spirit to Louisville, Kentucky, with a three-unit franchise agreement led by local entrepreneurs Daniel and Nicole Lenhardt. The first of the new locations is set to open in early 2026, marking a key milestone in the brand’s U.S. expansion strategy.
“When we began our franchising journey, we did a lot of research across a wide variety of industries,” said Daniel Lenhardt. “But once we stepped into a Bad Ass Coffee, we immediately knew this was the partnership for us.”
Inspired by their European café experiences, the Lenhardts aim to offer Louisville’s coffee-savvy community a vibrant and high-quality alternative. With Louisville’s strong food and beverage culture, the couple believes Bad Ass Coffee is a perfect match.
