PJ’s Coffee is bringing the bold flavors and Southern hospitality of New Orleans to Connecticut with the grand opening of its newest location at 3313 Berlin Turnpike. The celebration begins Wednesday, May 28, from 5 to 6 p.m., inviting the local community to enjoy a taste of the French Quarter.
To mark the opening, PJ’s Coffee will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Newington Chamber of Commerce. Guests can enjoy free small hot or cold brew coffees, sample-sized drinks and bakery items, coffee tastings, food sampling, games, and a prize wheel. One lucky visitor will win “Free Coffee for a Year.”
A second round of festivities is scheduled for the weekend of June 6–7, from 3 to 5 p.m., offering even more fun and flavors to officially welcome Connecticut’s first PJ’s Coffee.
Located in a busy plaza, the new shop offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with a walk-up window and outdoor patio seating. The menu includes small-batch roasted coffee, seasonal drinks, and PJ’s famous beignets — all designed to deliver an authentic New Orleans café experience, whether you’re staying for a while or grabbing something on the go.
