A new coffee shop called “Running Latte” has opened on Electric Road, offering a convenient drive-through service for busy customers.
The shop is owned by Chris Vaught, a Roanoke native who was inspired by drive-through coffee shops he encountered while living in Seattle. He decided to bring the concept back to his hometown to offer a quick and local coffee experience.
Vaught emphasizes the importance of supporting the community, saying, “It’s a local company, all of our baristas are from here, and the owners are here. When you spend money here, it stays in town. We want to support local sports teams and businesses, and be an active part of the community.”
“Running Latte” is open every day of the week, operating from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.
