Bear and Boost Coffee and Juice Bar in Nantwich is celebrating its first anniversary this month. The coffee shop, located above the Running Bear shop on Oat Market, opened its doors last May, offering locally roasted specialty coffee, cakes, and light bites.
In just 12 months, the café, affectionately called “The Den” by regulars, has become a popular spot for local runners. It’s especially loved as a post-run stop to refuel and socialize on weekends.
Bear and Boost has also hosted various events, such as talks with physiotherapists, running shoe try-on nights, wreath-making workshops, movie nights, and major sporting events like the Olympics and the London Marathon.
Manager Anna Foggo shared that the team, known as the “Coffee Bears,” are runners themselves and focus on creating a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
“The coffee shop has built a loyal community following,” said Foggo. “It attracts not only runners but also knitting and craft circles, women in business meet-ups, and parents gathering after the school run.”
She added, “Our team is known for going the extra mile, always taking time for a friendly chat with customers.”
