A new coffee shop has opened in Olde Towne East, offering a fresh take on iced lattes and specialty drinks inspired by Vietnamese flavors. Vongdara’s is located inside the lobby of 700 Bryden Road.
The shop is named after the owner’s mother. According to a post on their Instagram page, she was “the one who carried our family on her back fueled by Vietnamese iced coffees.”
Vongdara’s serves a creative mix of beverages, including iced ube lattes, pandan green milk tea, Thai iced tea, lychee green tea fizz, and the classic Vietnamese iced coffee. They also offer drip coffee, hot teas, cold brew, and iced chai.
The café is open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Whether you’re in the mood for a bold coffee or a colorful specialty tea, Vongdara’s offers a cozy new spot to explore global flavors in the heart of the neighborhood.
