Goshen Coffee Roasters, a locally owned coffee company based in Edwardsville, is preparing to open its third location next week. The new drive-thru shop will be located at 1 Junction Drive in Glen Carbon, across from busy shopping centers that include Walmart, Aldi, and Home Depot.
The shop is set to open on May 17, although the exact date may change depending on the weather, according to Jennifer Hughey, CEO and co-owner of Goshen Coffee.
Hughey runs the company with her husband, Mike Bergen, her sister, Julie Beard, and brother-in-law, Jay Beard. The family bought Goshen Coffee more than ten years ago from founder Matt Herren. Since then, the team has grown the brand, offering roasted coffee through wholesale and retail channels.
The new Glen Carbon location will give shoppers and commuters another local option in an area dominated by national coffee chains.
