French Truck Coffee has officially opened its 13th location at 7638 Maple St., marking a special milestone for the coffee chain. The new location takes over the space previously occupied by Maple Street Patisserie and holds personal significance for the brand’s founder, Geoffrey Meeker. French Truck Coffee was originally founded just around the corner in Meeker’s laundry room, making this location feel like “coming home.”
“This neighborhood gave French Truck its start, and we’re thrilled to return with a space that reflects how far we’ve come while honoring where it all began,” Meeker shared in the announcement.
The opening also coincides with the debut of French Truck’s new pastry program, led by Executive Chef Jeremy Fogg. Chef Fogg, known for his experience at Mae’s Bake Shop and Emeril’s, will now oversee pastry development for all Louisiana locations. Guests can look forward to a rotating selection of freshly baked treats crafted by Chef Fogg, complementing the chain’s beloved coffee offerings.
The menu at the Maple Street location includes French Truck classics like the Iced NOLA, smooth Oji cold brew, and a rotating selection of expertly crafted pour-overs, promising something for everyone.
“We’re excited to be part of the Maple Street community,” Meeker said. “With Jeremy’s exceptional pastries and our full lineup of beloved coffee offerings, we hope to become your daily go-to.”
The new location will be open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
