The Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) has announced that its flagship 2026 World of Coffee Asia trade show will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from May 7-9 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC). This marks the third consecutive WoC Asia event produced by South Korean agency Exporum, with support from the Barista Association of Thailand (BAT).
Following successful shows in Busan and Jakarta, the Bangkok event aims to engage both specialty coffee producers and consumers, reflecting the region’s dynamic coffee culture. Exporum CEO Danny Shin praised Bangkok as “an energetic, international city with a strong specialty coffee scene” poised to further global coffee conversations.
Since merging the Specialty Coffee Association of America and Europe, the SCA has expanded its global reach, including trade shows in the Middle East and strategic partnerships to promote coffee quality standards. The organization recently adopted the Coffee Quality Institute’s Q program and continues advancing its Coffee Value Assessment protocols for green coffee evaluation.
