Tim Hortons is making its debut in Maryland, with plans to open ten new locations in the state. The Canadian-based coffeehouse and quick-service restaurant chain is targeting Howard and Carroll counties for its first Maryland stores.
The company is seeking freestanding buildings with drive-thru capability or high-traffic endcap spaces to accommodate its expansion. Each new store will feature Tim Hortons’ standard 1,600-square-foot layout, including an indoor dining area.
“We’re excited to bring Tim Hortons to the communities of Howard and Carroll counties,” said Kyle Corman, senior real estate manager at Tim Hortons. “Our Maryland expansion reflects a commitment to growing in markets where guests are looking for great coffee, convenient drive-thrus, and warm, welcoming spaces.”
The new stores will mark the brand’s first presence in the state, as Tim Hortons continues to expand its footprint across the U.S.
