Nescafé has officially introduced its new Espresso Concentrated range in the UK, bringing a fresh option for cold coffee lovers to craft their own barista-style iced coffee at home.
Nescafé, the UK’s top-selling coffee brand, is tapping into the growing trend of cold coffee with this concentrated range. The product allows consumers to create their own iced beverages, whether it’s a creamy iced latte, a bold iced Americano, or even a refreshing mix with lemonade or juice. The concentrate easily dissolves in water or milk, enabling coffee enthusiasts to enjoy café-style drinks in an instant.
Cold coffee has seen a surge in popularity, particularly among younger generations. The UK, traditionally a tea-drinking nation, now has more regular coffee drinkers (63%) than tea drinkers (59%). This shift is attributed in part to coffee’s versatility, making it a popular choice for a wide range of beverages.
Axel Touzet, head of Nestlé’s coffee brands strategic business unit, commented, “With its growing popularity among younger generations, cold coffee continues to drive growth in the coffee category. Nescafé Espresso Concentrated captures what young people want in an iced coffee: convenience, personalization, and quality. As one of our six ‘big bets’ for 2025, this latest innovation has significant growth potential, with the ability to generate over 100 million Swiss francs globally in annual sales in the coming years.”
