What began as a coffee trailer in 2022 is now evolving into a full-scale café: Barrett Creek Coffee is officially moving into a permanent location inside the Depot.
Co-founder Miriam Miller shared her excitement, saying, “We get to be the first people doing this kind of business here, which we are very excited about.”
The newly renovated space—formerly a hallway in the Depot—will now serve as Barrett Creek Coffee’s flagship location. The café plans to offer an expanded menu, featuring not only its signature coffee and energy drinks but also a curated selection of pastries.
For co-owner Marlin Miller, the goal is about more than just drinks. “Our electronics have isolated us,” he said. “Our vision is to create a human connection—a place where people can come, relax, and be known.”
Marlin credits Miriam with the original “coffee vision” and says he’s proud to help grow the business alongside her. “Over the years, I’ve seen the growth, and I’m excited to expand with Miriam,” he added.
As the May 17 grand opening approaches, final touches are underway—from setting up tables and chairs to taste-testing new recipe ideas.
Barrett Creek Coffee hopes to offer more than just caffeine—it aims to be a gathering place where community and connection are always on the menu.
