Moccona, part of the JDE Peet’s coffee group, has launched a new product in Australia: Liquid Espresso Coffee Sachets. The company says it is the first of its kind in the country.
The single-serve, concentrated coffee sachets are now available across Australia. Shoppers can find them in major supermarkets such as Woolworths and Coles, as well as in independent stores. Each pack contains eight sachets and sells for AU$8.60. The product comes in three flavours—Medium Roast, Dark Roast, and Caramel—made from 100% Arabica beans.
“Consumers want great coffee without the hassle, and that’s exactly what Moccona Liquid Espresso delivers,” said Virginia Marsh, Marketing Director for Jacobs Douwe Egberts Australia at Moccona. “It’s convenient, versatile, and premium in taste. The format fits today’s lifestyle.”
Moccona developed the product in response to growing demand for personalised, portable, and time-saving coffee options. Although liquid coffee concentrates currently make up just 0.4% of the overall coffee market, the brand sees room for strong growth.
The company also shared findings from research it commissioned. According to the study, 76% of consumers said they would add the product to their existing coffee routine. This shows potential for the product to boost overall category sales.
Aimed at busy consumers who want a quick yet quality coffee experience, Moccona’s new sachets are designed to deliver both convenience and flavour for everyday use.
