Retrograde Coffee is opening its newest location this Thursday inside the Starling building. This spot overlooks First Horizon Park, home of the Nashville Sounds.
This is a big deal because Retrograde is one of Nashville’s most popular independent coffee shops. The Starling building is set to become the centerpiece of Germantown’s ballpark district.
Retrograde already has two other locations: one on Dickerson Pike in East Nashville and another on Clifton Avenue near 28th Avenue North.
The shop is known for its great locally roasted coffee and house-made sourdough bagels.
The Starling building also offers food, retail, and apartments. Some businesses like Toastique, a gourmet toast and juice bar, and Solidcore, a Pilates-inspired workout studio, are already open there.
Germantown’s coffee scene is thriving, with beloved shops such as Steadfast, Elegy, Barista Parlor, Surefire, and Red Bicycle all calling the neighborhood home.
