A former pharmacy in Fort Myers has been transformed into a caffeine haven. Take Two Coffee, a young but growing local brand, recently moved to 3594 Broadway Avenue. The new spot is just south of Carrell Road and directly across from St. Michael Lutheran Church.
Owner Caleb MacPherson hopes this relocation brings the steady foot and drive-by traffic his original location lacked. Previously situated off Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, the coffee shop struggled to attract passersby.
“There’s so much activity here on Broadway,” MacPherson said. “Next door is a preschool. St. Michael Lutheran Church across the street has about 120 staff members. Plus, there are plenty of nearby offices and homes.”
MacPherson has been roasting his own coffee for over ten years. Take Two Coffee officially launched two years ago in a friend’s backyard and opened its first storefront last April 20. This recent move to Broadway marks an exciting new chapter for the business.
