Arcos Dorados, the largest McDonald’s operator in Latin America and the Caribbean, has teamed up with Café Blasón to launch McCafé in Mexico. This collaboration strengthens McDonald’s commitment to local production and responsible consumption, while offering high-quality coffee to customers.
The coffee is sourced from certified farms in Oaxaca, Veracruz, and Chiapas, where it is grown by local farmers. Each year, Café Blasón produces 110 tons of coffee, all cultivated under strict quality standards to ensure both excellence and sustainability.
McCafé also proudly holds the Rainforest Alliance certification, ensuring that the coffee is produced through environmentally responsible practices. These practices focus on conserving natural resources, supporting human rights, and promoting eco-friendly pest control methods that avoid harmful pesticides. This helps protect the ecological balance and safeguard natural water sources.
