Matcha lovers in Glasgow have a new reason to celebrate. Blank Street Coffee, known for its viral matcha drinks like the White Chocolate Matcha, is opening its first Glasgow location on Gordon Street this Saturday, April 26, at 6:30 a.m.
Following high demand after a successful launch in Edinburgh earlier this year, the coffee chain is expanding into Scotland’s largest city. The Glasgow shop joins Blank Street’s growing list of 42 UK locations, including spots in London, Manchester, Birmingham, and Edinburgh.
Blank Street serves specialty grade Arabica coffee from Origin Coffee Roasters in Cornwall, using their signature Blank Blend. The brand recently won “Best Coffee Chain – UK & IE” at the Allegra European Coffee Awards 2023.
The opening coincides with Blank Street’s Spring menu, featuring new drinks like the Strawberry Shortcake Matcha and Rhubarb and Custard. Guests can also enjoy popular favorites like the Blueberry Matcha, specialty cold brews, and classic flat whites.
