There’s exciting news for coffee lovers in the Beaches community. ESPRO, the Toronto-based company known worldwide for its innovative coffee brewing products, has opened its first-ever coffee bar.
The new space is located at 2102 Queen St. E, in the former Juice and Java location. Designed by IV Design Studio, the café features a modern, welcoming interior. IV Design is known for creating some of Toronto’s most stunning spaces, including the OVO Studio and Campari Canada’s downtown offices.
“This space is all about experience,” said ESPRO owner and Beaches resident Peng Lin. “We want people to slow down, engage their senses, and enjoy coffee in a way that feels special, elevated, and social.”
A key feature of the coffee bar is the ModBar system by La Marzocco. This under-the-counter espresso setup removes barriers between baristas and guests, allowing visitors to watch and connect with the brewing process.
Guests can also sit at the tasting bar and sample curated flights of single-origin coffees, carefully selected from award-winning roasters around the world.
“We’re using beans that have stories,” Lin explained. “Farms that are known for the highest quality and ethical practices. When people come in, they’ll have the chance to taste something new and learn what makes each cup unique.”
