Compass Coffee is celebrating a major milestone with the opening of its 25th café at 555 13th Street NW in the heart of downtown Washington, D.C. The new location is just steps from the Metro Center metro entrance, bringing Real Good Coffee to one of the busiest and most iconic corners of the city.
Founder Michael Haft expressed his pride in the accomplishment, saying, “Opening our 25th café, right here in the heart of downtown DC, is very humbling. We opened our first downtown café in Chinatown back in 2016. It was our third location, and a big moment for us. To be here now, nine years and 25 cafés later, feels like we are coming full circle. This milestone is the result of a ton of hard work by our team and the incredible support we’ve received from our DC community every step of the way.”
With multiple locations already established across downtown DC, this new café strengthens Compass Coffee’s promise to meet customers where they are — whether they’re on their way to work, between meetings, or just passing through the city. Positioned right at the top of the Metro Center entrance, this café offers unmatched convenience and was designed with the city’s daily commuters in mind.
