During the World of Coffee Jakarta event, the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA), Exporum Inc., and the Barista Association of Thailand (BAT) officially announced that Bangkok will host the 2026 edition of World of Coffee Asia. The signing ceremony featured SCA CEO Yannis Apostolopoulos, Exporum CEO Danny Shin, and BAT Chairman Meechai Amornpathanakul. This marks the third edition of World of Coffee Asia, following successful events in Busan (2024) and Jakarta (2025).
World of Coffee Bangkok is scheduled for May 7–9, 2026, at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), a leading venue located in one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant and culturally rich capitals. The event, produced by licensed partner Exporum and hosted with support from the Barista Association of Thailand, aligns with SCA’s mission to expand global opportunities for specialty coffee professionals through events, education, and market access.
“Thailand’s specialty coffee community has grown remarkably over the past decade, and we’re honored to bring World of Coffee to Bangkok in 2026,” said Yannis Apostolopoulos, CEO of the Specialty Coffee Association.
“This event reflects our ongoing commitment to enhancing the coffee industry by fostering meaningful, inclusive, and sustainable trade across the entire value chain. With Thailand’s rich coffee heritage and Bangkok’s global connectivity, we look forward to delivering a World of Coffee experience that celebrates both tradition and innovation in the region.”
