PJ’s Coffee is bringing the flavors and charm of New Orleans to Connecticut with the grand opening of its first location in the state.
The new shop, located at 3313 Berlin Turnpike in Newington, will host its official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, May 28, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. The event is being held in partnership with the Newington Chamber of Commerce.
Known for its small-batch roasted coffee, seasonal drinks, and signature beignets, PJ’s Coffee offers guests a taste of the French Quarter. Visitors can enjoy their drinks and pastries on the outdoor patio or use the convenient walk-up window.
To celebrate the opening, PJ’s will offer free small hot and cold brew coffees, along with sample-sized drinks and bakery items. Guests can also take part in coffee tastings, food sampling, games, a prize spin wheel, and even enter for a chance to win Free Coffee for a Year.
The fun doesn’t stop there. A second celebration is scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 6–7, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., featuring even more festivities to officially welcome PJ’s Coffee to the Connecticut community.
