The Broad Street Market Alliance announced today that Elementary Coffee Co., a beloved local coffee company based in Harrisburg, will be returning to the Market with a grand reopening slated for Saturday, June 7.
To celebrate, Elementary Coffee Co. will be offering free freshly-grilled Stroopies and baked goods from Baked By Bryn during the reopening event. Additionally, the company will donate 10% of its Saturday coffee and tea sales back to the Broad Street Market Alliance to support the Market’s ongoing mission.
“Elementary Coffee Co. is beyond excited to be part of the historic Broad Street Market once again! We have always considered the Market, our fellow vendors, and our lively patrons to be our home,” said Andrea Grove, owner of Elementary Coffee Co. “We are so happy to bring our business ‘home’ once again with a fresh twist on our original stand. Longtime supporters will recognize nostalgic items from before the Market fire, while being enamored by a beautiful new design alongside fresh new equipment: the goal being to streamline our drink-making for a more efficient espresso bar. We cannot wait to celebrate the old and the new with you in the coming years as we whip up the unique coffees that have caffeinated our community for the past 10 years. We are so happy to be back!”
Elementary Coffee Co. originally opened inside the Broad Street Market in 2014 and has since expanded to its own brick-and-mortar location at 256 North Street. The company’s Market stand was displaced following the 2023 fire at the Brick Building.
