Vietnamese coffee brand Cafely has launched its strongest product yet, a new blend called BanMe that contains nearly twice as much caffeine as regular Arabica beans.
According to Cafely, BanMe is so strong that it may be the most caffeinated coffee in the world.
The coffee is made from Peaberry beans, a rare type that accounts for only 5% of the coffee harvest. These beans are grown in Buon Ma Thuot, known as Vietnam’s coffee capital, located 800 meters above sea level in the Central Highlands.
Despite the high caffeine content, Cafely says taste was not compromised.
“What sets BanMe apart is that we don’t trade flavor for strength,” said Alex, Cafely’s Co-Founder. “While many brands increase caffeine and lose flavor, we’ve shown it’s possible to have both—by starting with top-quality beans and using careful roasting methods.”
Cafely describes BanMe as having a rich and complex flavor, with notes of dark chocolate, toasted almond, and black cherry.
Co-Founder Mimi Nguyen added that the blend is designed for people who want a stronger energy boost than what a typical cup of coffee can deliver.
