Global coffee chain Cotti Coffee is set to open its first West Coast Canadian location in Richmond, marking a major step in its rapid international expansion.
A member of the Noms Magazine community (@0370van) recently spotted Cotti Coffee signage going up beside the T&T Supermarket at Lansdowne Centre, confirming the brand’s arrival in British Columbia.
Founded in 2022 by two former executives of China’s Luckin Coffee, Cotti Coffee has quickly made a name for itself in the global coffee market. In just two years, it has opened over 13,000 locations in 28 countries, including Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Hong Kong.
Cotti made its Canadian debut in Toronto last fall. Now, with Richmond as its next stop, the company is continuing its aggressive global push.
Ranked as the fourth largest coffee brand in the world, Cotti is best known for its affordable prices — many drinks cost under $5 — and frequent promotions. Its menu is both broad and creative, featuring items like the Orange Americano, Iced Shaken Orange Tea, Pampas Blue Coconut Latte, and the Instagram-worthy Stardust Crema Latte.
An official opening date for the Richmond location has not yet been announced.
