Citizens Advice Isle of Wight (IWCAB) is set to open a new community café in Newport on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. The café will serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch, continuing the legacy of the Eleven Coffee House, which first opened when IWCAB relocated to its new South Street premises, formerly Thompson’s restaurant.
Since 1964, IWCAB has been a trusted resource for Island residents, providing advice and support on a wide range of issues. In the past year alone, the organization assisted with over 17,000 cases involving welfare, housing, benefits, employment, immigration, debt, and the ongoing cost of living crisis.
The new café aims to be more than just a place to eat and drink. It will serve as a hub for delivering innovative initiatives designed to support local groups and individuals, strengthening the community through connection and care.
