Indonesia, one of the world’s largest coffee producers, will host the prestigious World of Coffee 2025 event in Jakarta. The event, scheduled for May 15-17, 2025, will take place at the Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC). Organized by Korean Exporum in partnership with the Specialty Coffee Association of Indonesia (SCAI) and Dyandra Promosindo, the event will provide a platform to introduce Indonesian coffee to the global market and foster dialogue between industry leaders, the government, and key partners.
Kangmin Kim, a Korean exporter, emphasized Indonesia’s significant role in the global coffee industry. As a major producer and consumer, Indonesia’s coffee diversity makes it an ideal location for the event. “It’s an honor to work with such a great team on this event, and we look forward to the inspiring ideas, discussions, and collaborations it will bring. The World of Coffee 2025 in Jakarta will be a vital step forward for Indonesia’s coffee industry and a global meeting point for the coffee community,” Kim said at a press conference at Excelso Central Park in Jakarta.
Daryanto Witarsa, General Chairperson of SCAI, also highlighted Indonesia’s importance in the coffee world. As one of the top four coffee producers globally, Indonesia is known for its rich and diverse coffee flavors, which are sure to attract international attention during the event.
