The results of the 2025 Nantou County Coffee Evaluation have been announced, with Xiangyang Taiwan Coffee taking home the top prize in three key categories: the washed group, other processing group, and the Geisha group. The awards highlight the brand’s outstanding coffee quality and distinctive flavor.
Other local producers also stood out. Moriyue Peak Coffee Estate earned multiple honors, including a gold medal and first prize in the washed group, as well as first prizes in both the other processing and Geisha groups. Ma’s Coffee performed strongly too, securing a gold medal in the washed group and a first prize in the other processing group.
This annual evaluation offers a valuable platform for showcasing Nantou’s coffee craftsmanship. By adopting a fair and impartial judging process, the competition identifies exceptional locally grown coffees, enhances the region’s reputation, and provides consumers with trusted guidance for their purchases.
